Since 1909, the
Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Lowell has brought
professional and compassionate home health care to people of
all ages throughout the Lowell region.
We are a private,
non-profit, community-based home health care agency, caring
for the people of Greater Lowell, northern Middlesex County,
southern New Hampshire and the Nashoba
Valley.
|
Our team is "on the
road" everyday - nurses, physical therapists, occupational
therapists, speech therapists, medical social workers and
home health aides - bringing care and compassion right to
each patient's home, sharing in their struggles and
successes as they recover and cope.
|

|
We've cared for
thousands of people, and generations of families, from all
walks of life, of all ages, in every neighborhood,
circumstance and level of health.

Our
Core Values
Respect, Integrity,
Compassion, Enhancement of Practice - these are the values
that have guided our work for decades.
Respect means
that we recognize and accept each patient as a unique and
complex human being, and provide care according to our
patient's goals and choices. We know that we are a guest in
the homes that we visit and in the lives that we
touch.
Compassion
means that we respond to our patients from the full sense of
our humanity as well as from our technical expertise. We
protect the dignity of our patients and listen deeply to
what they say and to what they are unable to say. We connect
with them as partners in the healing of body, mind and
spirit.
Integrity means
that we recognize the ethical dimensions of our daily work
and demonstrate our commitment to principled behavior. We
are trustworthy in all our interactions.
Enhancement of
Practice means that we work toward continuous
improvement and deliver health care that meets the highest
standards. As individuals and as an organization, we are
committed to lifelong learning.
